Lydia Fong, Executive Director, DPD International

Lydia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies in 1984. In 1987 she graduated with Honors from the National University of Singapore.
She was an Executive Architect with PWD, Singapore for four years, prior to joining the firm in 1991. Among the various architectural projects, she has collaborated with a number of world renowned foreign architects. Her professional experience includes several projects in the institutional, commercial, leisure and F&B sectors. In 1995, she was made an Associate of DP Design Pte Ltd and became a Director in 1997.
She is a Registered Architect with the Singapore of Architects and a member of the Board of Architects.
Lydia has been involved in several hospitality projects in China, including the Crowne Plaza Yangzhou, the Gran Melia Xian, and the Shanghi Huzhou Garden Lake Hotel in Huzhou. She is currently working on two Holiday Inn projects and two Holiday Inn Express projects in Wuxi and Suzhou.
She has a keen interest in the influence of Asian culture on both architecture as well as interior work.
