Karen Kim, Vice President of Interior Design, Global Design Asia Pacific, Marriott International Inc
Karen oversees and is responsible for all operating and new build hotels projects under Marriott brands in APAC. She received a BA in Interior Design in 1988 from George Washington University in Washington D.C. and upon graduation in 1988, joined Marriott International Inc. Corporate HQ in Bethesda, Maryland as a junior interior designer, where she started a long professional career as an interior designer with the company. She has held various positions within the Architectural and Construction division at Marriott and overseen many projects globally for 28 years. In 2011, Karen relocated to Hong Kong to take up her current role.
