The Discussion Panel – Specialists v Generalists

Panelists Discussion

Public Areas… Guestrooms… Restaurants… Bars… Lighting… Spas… Landscaping… Event Space… you need a specialist designer for all, don't you? …or do you? Why deal with a myriad of different designers when you can find one practice who can do the lot? Dealing with a 'one stop shop' design firm delivers a continuity and consistency throughout the property, doesn't it? Or are they really Jacks-of-all-trades and masters-of-none? Exactly when should you employ specialists, and when not? These questions and many more will be addressed by the HI-Design Asia panel – made up by two specialists and two generalists. Let battle commence!

Specialists:-
Adria W. Lake, Founder and Managing Director, A.W.Lake Spa Concepts Pte. Ltd
Hernan Zanghellini, Managing Director,
Zanghellini & Holt Architects (F&B specialists)
Generalists:-
Stephanie Clift, Director, Interior Design, DESIGN Duncan Miller Ullmann
Jose Olivares, Principal & Studio Director, DiLeonardo Hong Kong
