Recently selected by the editors of Hospitality Design Magazine for their 2009 Wave of the Future Award, the founder of Singapore based F.B.Eye, Warren Foster-Brown, will subject himself to a revealing interview with Guy Dittrich. The ‘Wave of the Future’ international designers are chosen on the basis of being young enough to be considered visionary, but tested enough to be considered accomplished. Warren will share his ideas and achievements with the HI-Design Asia delegates.
Warren's career to date has spanned several continents, from Europe to Asia and beyond, living in London, Hong Kong and Singapore, spending over a decade in Asia. Originally from England, his projects have ranged from luxury hotels and resorts to casinos, yachts and high-end residential projects. After obtaining a degree from Brunel University, London, Warren has been fortunate to work at some of the worlds leading design companies, including London's most famous department store Harrods design studio and Wilson & Associates, handling projects such as St. Regis Hotel, Singapore, Sheraton Sanya, Hainan Island, China (home to Miss World Competition) and China World Hotel, Beijing, China.
After the successful openings of hotels in China, Korea, India and London, Warren established FBEYE International in 2005 to concentrate and further explore the fundamentals of hospitality design combined with new concepts in guest expectations and the future of hotel design.
