Speaker: Cameron McPherson, Managing Director, CBM Hospitality Pte Ltd

An industry veteran with more than 26 years hospitality experience, Cameron has recently established CBM Hospitality venturing into Restaurant, Bar, Nightclub and Boutique Hotel development/ownership and management. His initial project is strategically located in Northern China.
The bar, nightclub and restaurant is scheduled to open in March 2010.
CBM while specializing in developing and managing it’s own properties, will also offer supplementary services in development planning, project management and design management for hotels, resorts and food and beverage outlets utilizing many years of experience in the Asia Pacific region.
Cameron, having lived and worked in South East Asia for nearly two decades and another four years in Hawaii, New Zealand and the Bahamas, has a strong design and construction milieu supported by experience in hotel management and bar management.
Most recently Cameron was the Carlson Worldwide Vice President for Technical Asia Pacific – two years and Senior Director/Director Design and Construction – three years, responsible for hotels, individual by design yet consistent with quality and standards.
As VP he led a team of design and construction professionals for the past five years, while overseeing the various stages and challenges of hotel development from conception to opening. His past accomplishments include the Ritz-Carlton Millennia Singapore, Millennium Tower, Millennium Walk retail complex and Conrad Centennial in Singapore, as well as the Radisson Kauai Beach Resort, Hawaii and the Royal Oasis Resort in the Bahamas where he contributed in design management, project management, development management and hotel management.
Cameron graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management from Queensland Institute of Technology, Australia and a Bachelor of Interior Design Seven Hills Art College, Australia.
He also holds and Advanced Diploma in Furniture Design, Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts, and Diplomas in Hotel Administration and Food & Beverage Management from Kangaroo Point TAFE and Hospitality 2000, Australia.
Cameron is married with three daughters and a son.
