Networking
HI Design Asia runs for 2 full days and 3 evenings. It is rare to have such concentrated time in the company of so many other senior decision makers. You will want to meet and get to know as many of them as you can. Your meetings schedule and the Supplier Showcase get you off to an excellent start.
But it's the abundance of effective networking that really add an extra
dimension to HI Design Asia.
Before the event officially begins, you have the perfect opportunity to break some ice at our pre-event excursion. An informal group outing to a suitable place of interest, it's a very natural way to find yourself networking. With a good balance of buyers and suppliers it's a really useful and enjoyable warm up for the event. It's also a great way to relax into your surroundings so you're in the best shape possible.

The event begins on a networking theme. The Welcome Buffet provides a highly convivial backdrop as you nestle amongst new faces. Open seating, with buyers and suppliers subtly distinguished by badge colour, you'll soon start having some interesting conversations and you'll start putting faces to names.
As you settle into the main business days of the event you'll find the networking keeps rolling: conversations over coffee, at lunch or between meetings can open up opportunities from totally unexpected sources. You will also start bumping into some now familiar faces.
At the end of the first business day, the pace and atmosphere mellow as attendees re-group for an evening cocktail reception. Here you can really start to get to know the people behind the hotel projects driving your industry. This is where the most enduring business relationships often start. We've done the hard work of bringing the right people together so you can just enjoy their company.
The second business day has a more familiar feel with impromptu conversations and meetings happening even more naturally and frequently throughout the day. You are really getting the hang of this. The final evening sees everyone together for the farewell dinner. Satisfied after 2 fascinating, enjoyable and intensely productive days, it's time to relax and enjoy the company of new customers, colleagues and friends as the evening unfolds. You'll likely firm up plans to catch up after the event. As you leave the next day you can begin to look forward to pursuing new leads and applying all that you have learned as you head for home.
