Thursday 11th Nov – 0830 – 0920hrs

The Asia Pacific Hotel Performance & Pipeline Report
Jonas Ogren, Area Director, STR Global will kick things off on the Thursday morning with The Asia Pacific Hotel Pipeline Report. Jonas will set the scene for the event by revealing exactly how many and where the new confirmed hospitality projects are in the Asia Pacific region. This is where it all begins.

Riding the Wave – F.B.Eye Interrogated!
Hospitality Design Magazine recently highlighted 6 ‘Wave of the Future’ international designers. Selected as young but accomplished visionaries, Warren Foster-Brown (top picture), founder of Singapore based F.B.Eye was amongst their number. Guy Dittrich will encourage Warren to reveal his inner-most thoughts, vision and accomplishments with the HI Design Asia delegates.

Friday 12th Nov – 0830 - 0930hrs

The Sustainability Session – Theory put into practise.
This session gives the green platform to three leading architectural/design practices who will demonstrate that ‘talking the talk’ can be backed by ‘walking the walk’. Benoy, the renowned international architect firm will step up for their first session. HOK and HBA, designers of the first LEED approved hotels in Korea and China respectively will also feature.
In addition, we introduce you to GIGA. Established to encourage architects and designers to take a more sustainable approach to projects in China, GIGA is creating an approved database of companies who support their ecological design principles. GIGA's founder, Raefer Wallis will represent (bottom picture).

The Operators Panel – What are they looking for?
After Sustainability, the next most requested subject from our designers last year was “What do the Operators really want from us?” Here is your chance to ask them. Three leading Hospitality owners/operators with a broad spectrum of contrasting properties between them will endeavour to provide some answers. Ask your questions and get involved!
