The interior designer's contribution to LEED Certification
Innovation and creativity are the common threads that weave together Federico Masin’s diverse F&B design experience. Travelling to far-off places from an early age and coming from a traditionally food-loving country, Federico quickly gained an appreciation for diverse fine food and associated it with his passion for architecture and interior design. Born in Italy where he graduated and started his professional career, he moved to Shanghai and focused on heritage and F&B design projects becoming one of the leading architects of the Bund 18 renovation project, later on awarded with the UNESCO award.
Since 2006 Federico has joined HBA Hong Kong, leading design firm in the Hospitality industry, where he currently works as the F&B design director, designing Bars and restaurants of some of the most prestigious five stars hotels in the region. Federico’s aim as an F&B designer is the one of making the art of cooking the focal of the dining experience
